Arrival Story:
I had been researching dogs for some time and a puppy came up from a breeder with good Bostons in McDonough, GA. I drove out and after looking at the 8-week-old puppies and not really finding any personality, was about to leave when they brought out this 5-week-old baby girl. She was full of kisses, very playful with a spark in her eyes. Her mother had stopped nursing her at 2 weeks and she had been taken care of by her aunt (with the 8-week-old puppies). She was being force weaned because Auntie was tired of the whole thing, so I took her home. I know - way too soon to leave the nest, but if she had to be fed by hand anyway, might as well be my hand.
She is a wonderful, bright, happy dog. She totally bonded with me in a way no other animal I have ever owned has and I'm told, this is because of her particular breed. I think its because she thinks I'm her mother.
